and 4th International Workshop on Real-Time Software
(WRTP/RTS'09)

Scope. Proliferation of computers interfacing with real world and controlling their environment requires careful investigation of approaches related to the specification, design, implementation, testing, and use of modern computer systems. Timing constraints, dependability, fault-tolerance, interfacing with the environment, reliability and safety are integral components of the software development process. Education of engineers developing such systems, working in interdisciplinary teams and in a global environment is also of paramount importance.
Objective. The main objective of the Workshop is to bring together researchers, practitioners and educators to discuss the current problems in real-time programming and their solutions, to assess state-of-the-art in the discipline and propose future directions. In addition to regular research papers, a round table discussion forum is planned on real-time safety-critical systems.

Papers Submission
- Authors should submit draft papers (as Postscript, PDF of MSWord file).
- The total length of a paper should not exceed 8 pages (IEEE style). IEEE style templates are available here.
- Papers will be refereed and accepted on the basis of their scientific merit and relevance to the workshop.
- Accepted and presented papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings published on a CD (ISSN 1896-7094) and in the IEEE Computer Society Digital Library (IEEE Xplore® database); selected papers will be recommended to journals
